While still very much in a pandemic, 850 Degrees is looking to the future and is now looking to hire an Assistant Manager/Server. You will be responsible for running your shift while also covering a section. This fun and fast paced environment is rewarding both on a financial and personal level.

March is here but never fear the speck is here… What is Speck you ask, well its a lightly smoked ham which normally comes from the northern Italy, except this this one comes from northern Ontario.

For the pizza of the month we have a base of Ontario buffalo mozzarella, thinly sliced potatoes, caramelized red onions all topped off once cooked with plenty of Speck.

A SPUCKIE is derived from the Italian verb Spaccare which means to split… Yes, this is what we are calling our new range of sandwiches for the month of March. To keep life simple, we have designed 3 types of sandwiches which are below or if you don’t fancy one of those … make up your own.

Simply choose a leaf, a dairy, a dressing, a veg and finally a protein. Which bread, that’s simple also, there is only one, which is made from our amazing pizza dough, fresh just for you.

We just wanted to take a moment to let you all know how much positive feedback like this means to the team! As we look back..

2020 has been a very challenging year but unlike a lot of our peers, we have survived and for that we are extremely grateful.

We have had new opportunities to work with and support our local community in the spring, summer, and this Christmas and for that we are extremely grateful.

The mental, physical and financial health of our staff has been challenged but we have survived and for that we are extremely grateful.

The business has had to adapt, develop and be nimble and you, our amazing customers, have encouraged and supported us, for that we are extremely grateful.

As we look forward...

2021 brings a new optimism and no doubt will also bring its own challenges but together we will make it a success and for that we are extremely grateful.

With so many additional issues to deal with this Christmas, families that are struggling need even more of a helping hand. That is why we decided to reconnect with our local Salvation Army in the fall and see what they needed. Since the toy drive drive needed extra help this year, we decided to put a toy collection box and a kettle in the restaurant to see what we could do.

We are always looking for ways to show our support to our community. Yesterday Siobhan and I, stopped by with 10 pizzas to donate to our neighborhood friends the staff at The Salvation Army accross the road from us at the Community Church. Unfortunately with the impact of Covid-19, this year is very different and the donatations are nowhere near where they need to be. We have therefore decided to help in by accepting kids toys & monetary donations at our restaurant and pickup up on a weekly bases! If you are unable to make it in person, you can also donate to The Lakeshore Salvation Army Church using the button above.
