Pinot Gris

Bashed and maligned over the years, Canadian wines do not have the best reputation. Thankful, may of the wines have come along way in the last 10 years. One of these is our Pinot Gris from Prince Edward county. Now what many people don’t realize is that Pinot Gris is the exact same grape as Pinot Grigio!  Originally from France, Pinot Gris/Grigio was adopted by the Italians who pick their grapes earlier from cooler climates resulting in a leaner profile with citrus, apple notes and high acidity.  The French style (The Grange) tends to be richer, lower in acidity and shows more pear, peach, tropical fruit flavours.  Both styles deliver easy drinking and food friendly wines.Sold by the glass or bottle, this a  perfect complement to our Group of 7

Enjoy

Chris
