Gem of the Lakeshore (Best Restaurant)

As someone who is a new Canadian, I get asked a lot about what is the biggest difference between my experiences from the UK and Canada. I alway say the same, a sense of community.

When we opened, our neighbourhood made a concerted effort to make sure they supported us by not just coming in once a week but sometimes twice or even three times.

This is why The Gem of the Lakeshore means so much to us !! Thank you all for your vote and for all your support over the past 5 years.

We will proudly continue to support “Local”… Local produce, Local hockey team, Local arts (Lakeshore Arts!), Local schools and many more!
